MEET DR. TONY YANG 

Our team at Alpine Valley OS is proud to announce the addition of a new senior surgeon to our practice! Dr. Tony Yang DDS, MD has been an oral surgeon for 15+ years and he is both a licensed dentist and physician. He completed his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of California at San Diego. He then earned his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2001, graduating near the top of his class. Dr. Yang received his medical degree from Drexel University and then completed his residency program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Alleghany General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Dr. Yang is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). He is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and maintains his Board certification with the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr Yang’s clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, including the removal of wisdom teeth, dental and facial trauma, general anesthesia and IV sedation, oral pathology, dental implants and bone grafting. Dr. Yang was born in a small town of 30,000 in Taiwan. He immigrated to Pittsburgh during high school, and he truly cares about his patients and staff & co-workers. He appreciates the trust of all his patients, referrals, and the opportunity to provide the best care for his patients. In his spare time, he enjoys movies, hiking, working out, trying different restaurants, watching basketball, and occasionally going deep sea fishing.
